Show pupils a bowl of sick. (mixture of food + water and some acid). Test the pH. Ask how we stop indigestion. Sprinkle some of the powdered “indigestion tablet” on to the mixture and should see it neutralise. Hand out sheet 7Ee/3 (error should read hydrochloric acid) Going to find out which remedy is the best. Whichever neutralises the acid first is the best.
